About Us

My name is Kailani and I have been blogging for about three years now. It all started when I wanted a free download for my Treo Smartphone. The company asked me to blog a review for them but I had no idea what a blog actually was. With the help of an online friend, I started my very first Blogger site called The Pink Diary (lame, I know). However, I wasn’t planning on blogging past that one review. One visitor led to another and here I am today.

Here at An Island Life, you’ll find me posting about my daily life in Hawaii, my wonderful family (DH, Girlie Girl 7, Baby Bug 3, and one more on the way), working as a flight attendant, as well as sharing some great products reviews and giveaways. This is also home to the popular Aloha Friday Meme.

You may also know me from my former review site: An Island Review. I decided to combine that site with my main blog in order to take An Island Life to another level. I am also the founder and administrator of the group review site, Family Review Network.

Recently, I’ve added some really great blogging friends to help out with various weekly columns and to assist with product reviews. Without them I couldn’t keep this site running!
