Giveaway: Nemia Creative Custom Photo Greetings
This giveaway is now closed. Thank you for your participation.

When Girlie Girl was born, there really wasn’t much options for birth announcements, holiday wishes, and thank you cards. You basically just went to the drug store and purchased generic cards in packs of 8. I still remember having to hand write over 200 “It’s a Girl!” cards in-between feedings, burpings, diapering, etc. Boy, talk about time consuming!
Now there are so many companies that specialize in custom photo cards at very reasonable prices. However, one of them that really stands out is Nemia Creative and I’ll tell you why . . .
Nemia Creative “an imaginative design studio where unique and original greetings take shape. Here you will discover a fantastic collection of birth announcements and holiday cards printed on archival photo paper or traditional heavy cardstock.”
Not only does Nemia Creative offer the most stylish designs but they’re also very customer service oriented which is evident in their policies. Their goal is to make your experience as uncomplicated and enjoyable as possible by allowing unlimited edits to your cards until you’re 100% satisfied. You don’t see that very often these days.
Guess what? Nemia Creative has generously donated some really cool prizes for one lucky winner – a pack of custom photo birth announcements (24 qty – 5×7 cardstock + envelopes) and a set of coordinating thank you cards (24 qty – 4×5.5 folded cardstock, blank inside). Total value $108!
To enter, just stop by their site before February 28th and view all the gorgeous designs. Then come back and mention which one is your favorite. That’s it! A random winner will be selected and notified on February 29th.
For extra entries, just subscribe to my feed and/or mention this giveaway on your blog with a link back here and to Nemia Creative. Please let me know if you’re doing the extra credit so I can make sure you’re entered properly.
This giveaway is open to everyone world-wide. Good luck!
Aloha Friday – Week 21
February 22, 2008 by Kailani

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing heavy or too thought-provoking.
If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!
Today’s question is:
What was your favorite toy as a child?
I really miss my olive green Easy Bake Oven. Who knew that cake batter cooked by a light bulb could taste so good?
BTW, thank you for all your candid comments to yesterday’s post regarding lurking. It was definitely an eye opener. Please be assured that I do treasure and read all your comments no matter how many I’m lucky to receive.
Do You Lurk?
I’m not much of a lurker – pretty much every blog I’ve ever visited I’ve commented on at some point. Even if it’s to say, “Hey, good point!”
However, there is this one particular blog that I’ve read occasionally for the last year and have still to contribute anything to the conversation. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because he has such a loyal following of massive amounts that I figure I would just get lost in the crowd. Maybe it’s because they all seem to know each other so well and I’d feel like the new kid in school not wanting to say anything to make me stand out. Maybe I feel that I don’t have anything intelligent to contribute. Maybe after all this time I feel a little silly coming out – so to speak.
In any case, that made me wonder if other bloggers felt the same way. My little blog is in no way on the same level as his but I feel like the people who visit on occasion have become really good friends with me and amongst each other. I hope that everyone who stops by feels free to say (or not say) whatever they want without fear of being judged. Comment or lurk – either way is fine. However, I hope eventually all lurkers will feel comfortable enough to say “Hi!”.
What about you? Do you lurk on other blogs? If so, why?
Spotlight Comment from Dee of Drama Mama:
I’ve never considered myself a lurker, it sounds so beneath me! hehehehehehe! I like to consider myself a window shopper….lol Okay I’ll cut the crap ….I LURK….
